Resolved several bugs and removed the Secure Backup feature.
Beaverton Oregon – August, 23rd 2023. Folder Lock encrypts your files and folders, keeping them safe from prying eyes. While encrypted, they stay far from intruders and hackers. It is trusted because of its U.S based military 256-bit AES algorithm, where the data is encrpyted and decrypted on-the-fly. So your confidential data is much more secured with the Folder Lock.
Lock Files is a great way to protect your important data from unauthorized access. Items that you lock and hide remain locked even in Windows Safe Mode, such as folders or drives. This helps prevent snooping by unauthorized program users. Your data can be protected against risky access by allowing only designated users to open or modify these items.
In this latest update, Folder Lock has resolved several bugs and we regret to inform you that Secure Backup service has been terminated due to us getting not much business from it than the costs it involved. The 3rd-party also ended the contract with us due to this reason.
We have already unsubscribed existing users of Secure Backup so there is nothing you have to do. If you have issues or questions regarding this cease of service, please contact us by using the Contact Us form.
We are soon to launch the next version of Folder Lock 7, called Folder Lock 10. It will introduce new features like cloud backup of users encrypted files in Dropbox, Google Drive and OneDrive.
