USB Lock FAQs

Note: USB Lock does not install on your computer. Before starting USB Lock, you need to plug-in your USB drive that you want to protect. If, however, your portable media is already plugged-in and you cannot find the USB drive on your computer, try plugging it again. Once you have identified the USB drive you want to protect, place USB Lock inside that drive, run the application, and set a password. Once you have set the password, click on Lock to Lock and protect your USB drive.

Your protected USB Drive can be easily Unlocked by simply running USB Lock and entering the password. One you have entered the correct password, click on Unlock to open your USB drive. Important: Please remember that your device will remain Unlocked and unprotected until you manually Lock it with USB Lock.

You can change your password in USB Lock by clicking on the Options link at the bottom of the application screen. Once in the Options screen, enter a new password and confirm the password. Click on Apply to confirm the changes made.

Simply download the USB Lock file from our website and place the program on your USB flash drive in which you have protected your data and then unprotect your data by entering the correct password.
